Last year I ditched my candle and plug-in obsessions for a diffuser which has now multiplied into five diffusers (and counting) throughout the house. I love the smell of fall. The warm spicy scent of cinnamon, nutmeg, clove along with the sweetness of orange makes this diffuser blend smell good enough to eat.
To save time I like to make a batch of the pumpkin spice blend to leave next to our diffuser in the family room. I take an empty essential oil bottle (or any small glass container with a dropper or orifice reducer) and quadruple the recipe above. It’s also a nice gift for friends and neighbors. And you don’t have to have a diffuser to use this blend. You can make a room freshener (alcohol and water in a spray bottle) or add a couple drops to a cotton ball and put them in your air conditioning vents (or directly on the filter). The possibilities are endless to make your home smell like you’ve baked all day!
